Do not over apply the sealer and remove any excess from the surface within 5 minutes using a clean dry white cloth. 1 Gallon Container of Stone Sealer #5 Stone Sealer #5 is a reactive silicone polymer in a low odor mineral spirits. It impregnates marble, granite, travertine, slate and limestone to form a “wet look” protective barrier. This is a combination sealer that offers both the qualities of Stone Sealer #1 and Stone Enhancer #1 in a single bottle. This sealer is solvent based and is widely used by the professionals in the stone fabricating industry. It has many applications in commercial and residential applications. Stone Sealer #5 will cover approximately 500 square feet per gallon for each application. We recommend applying two coats approximately 2 hours apart rather than one thick coat. Do not over apply the sealer and remove any excess from the surface within 5 minutes using a clean dry white cloth. The natural stone surface should be kept completely dry while the sealer is curing for 24 hours. Apply with either with a micro fiber cloth on small areas such as counter tops. However, for larger floor or wall areas apply or with a very short nap (1/8″) roller. We recommend that a single top up application is re-applied on top of the old sealer every 2 to 3 years.
